Pastor Mike Ford spent his childhood in Central and Northeastern Oklahoma, and graduated from high school in Colorado. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, with a tour in Vietnam.

At the age of 27, Mike surrendered his heart and life to Jesus Christ. After going back to school and graduating with his Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, he continued with graduate work and attained two Master's degrees.

God has blessed him with the opportunities to pastor some great Southern Baptist churches. Now, God has brought him and his wife, Sonya, to Hill Creek Baptist Church in Whitehouse, Texas.
